What is the next step with your email list?
Like most things… the answer is “it depends”.
Depends on:
What your goal is
What you already have
If you’re reading this, I’m assuming your goal is to make a bunch of money with email, so let’s roll with that.
Scenario #1
Let’s say you have domain expertise in something, but zero list or audience. Your goal is to change that and create a legitimate online business out of it.
The next step might be to create a lead magnet that details what you do and attracts your ideal person. Then you can build or buy traffic to the lead magnet in exchange for a name and email.
Spend $2k-$5k in ads you could have your first 1000+ leads and be in the green if you have the right flow to your Offer Buffet. Hell if you’re like some of my clients, you might even be ringing in sales and have the foundation for a million dollar email list.
Scenario #2
What if you already have a list and offers that convert? The next step might be to run a 7-day promo to sell more of it to your existing list.
Pick the offer, the start and end date, the reason to buy now, and send an email with a CTA every day.
I’ve helped clients scoop up $10k-$100k+ from their list within weeks. I also love doing this for myself every month, as I did with my Low-Mid Ticket Rainmaker campaign promo that will pay for my entire Turkey/Portugal Eurotrip.
Make a profit from the assets you already have.
Your next step with your email list is circumstantial.
Figure out what you’re trying to achieve and what you already have that can help you achieve that. Learn to be resourceful and use what you already have. Then choose the path that aligns with your goals.
